Tempur-Pedic, a luxury sleep brand, has introduced two new pillows: the Tempur Breeze Cooling Pillow Collection for hot-weather sleepers and the Tempur Adapt Pillow Collection for superior head, neck, and shoulder support and pressure distribution during sleep Prices start at $125 for the Tempur-Pedic and include a five-year warranty
I especially enjoyed the design and features of the Tempur Adapt Pillow, which I found to be perfect for people suffering from shoulder and neck pain The Tempur Breeze pillow, on the other hand, uses some of the same cooling technology found in the brand's cooling beds and is ideal for those who perspire in their sleep
Tempur-Pedic, of course, is the brand behind the best mattress we tested this year, and we are excited about the release of these newcomers because we greatly appreciate its pillows and bedding too The Tempur Breeze Pillow starts at $225 and the Tempur Adapt Pillow starts at $125 Both collections are available for purchase now
Tempur-Pedic's new cooling pillows use some of the same cooling fabric and technology used to make the brand's market-leading Tempur Breeze mattresses As such, it is suitable for people who are prone to overheating while sleeping
The new Tempur Breeze pillow series comes in two profile heights: the first is ProLo, a slim pillow, suitable for people who sleep on their stomach or back The second is ProHigh, which offers more cushioning and support for side sleepers and combi sleepers [Both pillows are made of a single layer of NASA-developed Tempurfoam, molded to encase the head, shoulders, and neck and provide deep pressure relief They are covered with a removable cool-touch outer layer, so overheating is not a problem The Tempur Breeze Pillow costs $225 for the queen size and $275 for the king size
While the Tempur Breeze Pillow focuses on cooling, the Tempur Adapt Pillow Collection focuses on maximum support and pressure relief As with the mattresses (read Tempur-Pedic's review of the Tempur-Adapt mattress for more information)
Tempur-Adapt pillows are designed to provide advanced pressure relief for your head, neck and shoulders and are catered for those who struggle with neck and shoulder pain
The Tempur Adapt pillow comes in three variations: the Adapt Pro Adjust, made of shredded Tempur foam for an extra soft feel, and a fully adjustable height for personal comfort (remove or add foam to fit any sleeping position)
The Adapt Pro-Low is made with a single piece of pressure-relieving Tempur foam and is designed to be slimmer, making it ideal for supine and prone sleepers Finally, the Tempur Adapt Pro High Pillow is taller than other pillows, providing additional cushioning for side sleepers
The price details above are for the queen size of each pillow Compared to the top three pillows we tested and reviewed in this year's Best Pillows Guide, the new Tempur-Pedic pillows are on the pricier side
For example, the Casper Hybrid Pillow with Snow tech, which we recommend as the best luxury cooling pillow, has a similar design to the Tempur-Breeze pillow but is less expensive (starting at $149 at Casper) The main difference, however, is that Casper does not offer the option to customize the height of the pillow to suit one's sleeping position
It is also worth noting that the latest collection of Tempur-Pedic pillows does not include a sleep trial
