Garmin's best-looking smartwatch finally has the features you really want!

As Google continues to slowly kill off each Fitbit model, Garmin is expanding the capabilities of its fitness tracking wearable with the Garmin Lily 2 Active

Its predecessor, the Garmin Lily 2, is Garmin's best-looking smartwatch yet, with an emphasis on women's health tracking features (users can track menstrual cycles and pregnancy and get exercise and nutrition tips around this)

It offers standard fitness tracking, including Garmin's Body Battery Insights, move reminders, sleep scores, steps taken, calories burned, and activity intensity It also has a built-in sports app with the ability to track dance activities, and you can use Garmin Pay on the Lily 2 Classic

However, neither the original Lily nor the Lily 2 have GPS, so users will need to carry a smartphone to get their location during a workout

The new Garmin Lily 2 Active changes this situation by taking the sleek, attractive design we love and adding the onboard GPS we've always wanted And the price is only $50 more than the non-GPS version

The Garmin Lily 2 Active is available in three sleek styles to choose from: Lunar Gold with a bone silicone strap, Silver with a purple Jasmine silicone strap, and my favorite, Jasper Green with a Jasper Green silicone strap available now for $299

The standard Lily 2 is touchscreen-only, but the Active model adds physical buttons on the side of the case in addition to GPS integration While the standard Lily 2 is touchscreen-only, this should make it easier to operate when training with sweaty fingers

The Lily 2 Active also supports Garmin Coach, which allows users to get personalized adaptive training plans based on their workout goals The watch also supports a wider variety of activities, including golf, tennis, and of course pickleball
