OnePlus is preparing to launch its next high-end earphones within the next few weeks. The company's latest X post calls the new earbuds “the best audio product ever,” which is high praise given that the company already makes some sturdy earbuds.

The post concludes with “some meticulously balanced notes on the horizon for the #OnePlusBudsPro3,” which will be available on August 20. Unfortunately, the company did not reveal any details about the upcoming earbuds other than the tagline “Perfection at Play.”

Since X's post included a 9:00 AM ET time frame, perhaps the company will hold an event on the morning of August 20 to reveal everything about the OnePlus Buds Pro 3. In the meantime, we reached out to OnePlus for additional information about the earbuds, but unfortunately they had nothing else to share. [As we stated in our Buds Pro 2 review, “While comparable to the latest generation of wireless ANC earbuds, the new OnePlus Buds Pro 2 underperforms at this price point,” the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 has room for improvement. If OnePlus can improve performance, and given that the company says it has “the finest audio offering yet,” the earphones could be a contender against Apple's AirPods Pro 2.
