The Pixel 9 Pro comes with a price tag of £999/$999 And it can be pre-ordered starting August 13, with no official release date as of this writing; the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL will be available on August 22, but the Pro is expected to arrive later

Like the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 series, the Pixel 9 Pro includes a satellite SOS feature that allows users to send messages to emergency services when the phone is turned off
Google is working on Android 15 and typically launches a new Pixel with the latest build of Android each year, but not the Pixel 9 series; the Pixel 9 Pro and its siblings will initially launch with Android 14, but an Android 15 upgrade to Android 15 is not expected to be far off
