This beloved Rockstar classic game may finally be coming to the PC.

While we wait for “Grand Theft Auto 6” to be released next year (we hope), there are still plenty of great titles in Rockstar's back catalog, one of which may finally be making its way from console to PC.

As our sister site Tech Radar discovered, the classic “Red Dead Redemption” may finally be making its debut on PC. X/Twitter user Wario64 discovered that the PlayStation Store page for “Red Dead Redemption” has been updated.

The PS Store page includes information that the PlayStation version will include all content from the “Game of the Year” edition and all upgrades from the 2023 console version, as well as “PC-specific enhancements.”

The list includes increased resolution, support for multiple displays, improved frame rates, spatial surround sound, etc.

The updated page states that “the full Game of the Year edition, including bonus content for both games Red Dead Redemption, which includes the single-player experience, features all of the 2023 console upgrades, plus PC-specific enhancements including improved resolution and frame rate, multiple displays, support for other accessories, and spatial surround sound. It is.”

.

However, as of this writing, this entire section has been edited and instead states, “Featuring the full single-player experience of both games, Red Dead Redemption also includes bonus content for the Game of the Year Edition and more.”

It goes on to say.

This is not the first time the idea of a PC version of “Red Dead Redemption” has been leaked; in March, code was found in the Rockstar Launcher indicating that “Red Dead” would be released on PC, but since then and to date, no official information from Rockstar has Nothing has been released.

This is a surprising leak, since Rockstar Games has yet to announce a PC port of its wonderful “Red Dead Redemption 2” predecessor. If it does get ported, we can expect Rockstar to announce it on social media.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was released a year after its console debut and has been available on PC since 2019.

Besides Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar is said to be releasing Grand Theft Auto 6 next year, probably in March, or at the latest in the fall. So far, we know that it will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.

GTA 5 has been available for PC since 2015, two years after it was released on consoles. Therefore, it is expected that a PC version of GTA 6 will eventually appear. Whether it will be released alongside the console versions is yet to be determined.
