Now for the answer to today's game 430 connection

Drum roll please

Sometimes the trap is more interesting than the answer

I spent a minute trying to find a Disney connection to put Mickey, Daisy, Guff, and maybe Jasmine or Buzz together Obviously it didn't work, and I abandoned this before I could get a strike

Guf gave me gaff, flub, and boo-boo for the yellow blunder

I stuck with Disney and followed the daisies, jasmine, petunias, and poppies

Today I went down the line, which always satisfies me I saw pollination, buzzing, and thread as I put together groups of flowers The dancing reminded me that bees communicate with a series of “dances” to indicate the location of flowers, other bees, and predators Cool

I'm not a Yankees fan, but you should have seen the Yankees legends coming I'm hooked on Disney Meanwhile, good luck Orioles As of this writing, they lead the AL East over the Yankees Here is the Connections solution to game #429, which according to the Connections Companion had a difficulty score of 28 out of 5

I started with the yellow category and looked at the two words in the bottom corner and the last two in the top row: said, spoke, told, voiced good form

Regardless of which category, I was going to make sobriquet next, what a fun word to drop into a puzzle that tends to shy away from $5 words From there, I was quick to find call names, handles, and monikers

I then hooked up the purple category with Porter, Power, Rough, and Wheelhouse To be honest, I didn't realize the connection to the House and worked my way around the blue category in confusion

Marked, prounced, and striking all made sense as connections, but as I solved the grid, I struggled to be clear In a sense, yes, all these words mean obvious This is also my problem with the connection, in that I see what seems to be a colloquial definition before I see a secondary definition In other words, clear was not obvious to me Clear does not apply to it

So
