Google's newly announced Pixel Watch 3, already one of the best smartwatches and arguably one of the best Android smartwatches, seems to have a nice free data benefit for buyers of the LTE variant.

Those who purchase the Pixel Watch 3 cellular version (as reported by 9to5Google) will get two years of free LTE data via the Google Store. This benefit is offered through Google Fi Wireless. According to Google, the LTE version costs $100 more than the Bluetooth-only version, but at no additional cost.

Free data will be available from the Pixel Watch 3 and the larger 45mm Pixel Watch 3 XL.

Google highlights the promotion on the Pixel Watch support page: “Buy a Pixel Watch 3 (LTE) at the Google Store and get two years of data on your smartwatch. To activate this service, we will send a unique activation link to the email address you entered during checkout.”

Free data is capped at 1GB per month, split in half with 500MB of 4G data. After this limit is reached, it drops to 500MB at a rate of 256Kpbs.
