Back to Jason England's place - my perfect desk setup, ultimate cheap sim racing equipment, etc

Jason England is the Managing Editor of Computing at Tom's Guide, where he covers everything from laptops and peripherals to gaming hardware and VR

So we know he's a techie, the site's resident sim racing geek, and a bit of a coffee snob How did all of this make him the right place to be? Well, without talking about myself in the third person (it always feels weird to do so as a writer, but I have to for Google's convenience), let me show you my desk setup, living room, and a few other essentials that make this little apartment a home

I wanted it to be multi-functional, ergonomic, and productive I've already written a bit about my own mega-desk (by the way, many of the deals I mentioned there are still valid), but here's a bit more about it [writing, photography, videography, graphic design, team management (including many meetings), strategic planning, etc When I don't have a day job, I also have my own small jobs, like music production or digital marketing for a local restaurant, etc And as an unstoppably addictive experience, using PSVR 2 with Gran Turismo 7 is simply mind-blowingly immersive

Plus, the backdrop in many of my review photos: a combination of Nanoleaf hexagonal lights, Grid Studio frames, and two plant wall mounts I like this aesthetic contradiction between the tech and natural worlds as a set piece that brings both sides of the living room together

There was a time in the past when we viewed food and drink as mere fuel More recently, however, I have come to learn that in order to reduce body fat and grow muscle, it is important to enjoy what you eat [Of course, Luis Silva has more on why you can't build muscle in the gym But the main thing that has helped me lose weight and get stronger is planning what I eat throughout the week and sticking to it

And at the heart of it all is my trusty air fryer, which has expanded my kitchen creativity exponentially (seriously, my Korean-style barbecued chicken thighs and egg fried rice are elite) It's a different brand and model than the Ninja AF101, but the same size and power
