Nineteen new and upcoming shows were announced, including "The Last of Us" Season 2, "White Lotus" Season 3, and the "Game of Thrones" spinoff

Max remains the best streaming service

Just before the "House of Dragons" Season 2 finale, HBO dropped a new teaser trailer showcasing everything coming soon to the prestige TV network The two-minute sizzle reel showcased 19 new and upcoming shows coming to Max in the next few months If you missed it or don't have Max, you can check it out on YouTube or watch it below

There were no dragons, but there were definitely some first looks at some of the shows that caught fire There was also a preview of "Knights of the Seven Kingdoms," the second of George RR Martin's "Game of Thrones" spinoffs There were also previews for "The Penguin" and "Dune": there were also previews for two new original shows, "The Penguin" and "Dune: Prophecy," which will air on HBO and Max this fall

Most importantly, however, we got important information about what to expect from "The Last of Us" Season 2, including the first look at new cast members Jeffrey Wright and Catherine O'Hara

Here's everything we can expect from HBO to reach Max in the coming months

I'm still a little shocked that the first of what will come out of Matt Reeves' "Batman" will be an HBO live-action show about Oswald Cobblepot Colin Farrell's portrayal of the iconic Batman villain played an important role in the 2022 DC Comics movie, but I was hoping for a Zoe Kravitz Catwoman spinoff before they produced a prestige drama about the Gotham crime boss

The Penguin, played by Farrell, will return this September for at least eight episodes" The Penguin" takes place immediately after the 2022 film, leading into the 2026 sequel "Batman - Part II" Therefore, by the time "Battinson" hits theaters, we will have seen Farrell get a prosthetic body and make-up, rise through the ranks of Gotham's underworld, and become the city's top criminal

Premieres September 19 on HBO and Max

Season 1 of "The Last of Us" produced one of the best television seasons in years and one of the best episodes in television history, "Long, Long Time" Starring Bella Ramsey as Ellie and Pedro Pascal as her father Joel, the film adaptation of the acclaimed PlayStation 3 game was equal parts beauty and cruelty

as the two trekked through an apocalyptic American wasteland While there are still questions about what exactly Season 2 will cover, as it is unlikely to cover the entire game as Season 1 did, there is no doubt that this season will maintain the dark, gritty tone of the show However, it does add a strong addition to the cast Academy Award nominee Jeffrey Wright stars as Isaac, the leader of the militia group Washington Liberation Front, and Catherine O'Hara appears in an unknown role, but from this trailer it is clear that she will interact with Joel at least during season two

Premieres on HBO and Max in 2025

"House of the Dragon" Season 2 may have just ended, but HBO is not done pumping out content from the "Game of Thrones" universe Starring Peter Claffey as the tall Ser Duncan and Dexter Sol Ansell as his squire Egg, the show should take us all over the Seven Kingdoms as we follow the myriad adventures of these two

We don't know much from the short clip of Max's sizzle reel other than to see Sir Duncan and Egg in action, but there are a few things we do know about "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" The show takes place a few years after the events of "House of Dragons" and a few decades before the events of "Game of Thrones," so we don't expect to see a lot of dragons flying around For that, we will have to wait until "House of Dragons" Season 3 airs

First airing on HBO and Max in 2025

These shows are the highlights, but here is a list of everything HBO has teased that will be coming soon on HBO and Max
