Future Game Show Returns at Gamescom - How to Watch and What to Expect

The Future Game Show regularly showcases an impressive array of games, and the next chapter will be at gamescom on Wednesday, August 21.

Hosted by Alex McKenna, who plays Sadie Adler in "Red Dead Redemption 2" and Ned Luke, who voices Michael in "Grand Theft Auto V" (not quite the GTA announcement we were hoping for, but oh well), more than 50 games and even a sneak peek of "The Lord of the Rings" will be shown: a sneak peek of "The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Kings" Season 2 will also be shown.

The stream will be available on Twitch, YouTube, X, Facebook, and TikTok on Wednesday, August 21 at 4pm ET, 1pm ET, and 9pm ET.

Of course, we have already mentioned that there will be over 50 games. One of them is Sid Meier's in-depth presentation of Civilization VII (since the game is a sponsor of the show), and in addition to this, 2K, Tripwire Presents, Plaion, Nacon and Rebellion will also be at the party will be there.

This could mean everything from more gameplay of "Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown" (and a glimpse of the new sim wheels and pedals the company is working on) to the return of "Atomfall," which intrigued us at this year's Xbox Games Showcase could mean everything from a new appearance to a new version of "Atomfall.

Variety is evident in the "Ones to Play" section (titles with demos available to play immediately after the show), the focus on indie titles in the "Indie Elevator Pitch," and the upcoming games in the "Ones to Watch" section. A curated selection, for example.

Set a reminder to come back here and watch along!
