Netflix Top 10 Shows - Here are 3 shows worth watching now

Here at Tom's Guide, we regularly check our Netflix Top 10 list and pick the three best shows on it, so you always know what to watch next.

For Netflix, picking the next show may be a big challenge. After all, one of the main reasons we consider Netflix one of the best streaming services on the market is the streamer's wide selection of movies and shows.

While Netflix's Top 10 shows and movies list is a convenient way to minimize Netflix selection paralysis (we've all experienced it!) ), the most popular things on the platform are not necessarily the best Netflix has to offer. That's where we come in. Right now, we recommend checking out a raunchy medieval comedy, a looming action box set that just landed on streamers, and a sports doc that's perfect for the 2024 Olympics.

If you're still looking for streaming recommendations, check out our list of new releases coming to Netflix in August and our list of Netflix's best shows available for streaming right now. Here are our other three picks from this list, as well as our Netflix Top 10 (as of 4 a.m. Friday, August 2).

This hilarious limited series begins when a group of misfit Italian aristocrats take up residence in a luxurious Italian villa to escape an epidemic in 14th century Florence... "Bridgerton" and "Horrible Histories"...

On the surface, the film is a mix of "Bridgerton," "Horrible Histories,"

and "Love Island," a house-party comedy.

On the surface, the film seems to have a droll sense of humor and decadence, but this dreamlike escapade quickly turns nasty as the villa descends into chaos, power struggles rage within, and new threats loom from outside the walls. Chaotic and compelling.

No, not a reboot: all five seasons of "Prison Break" were released on Netflix at the end of July. Clearly, many Netflix subscribers were eager to rewatch the series (or watch it for the first time), and the ultra-powerful drama quickly climbed into the Netflix Top 10 and has held that spot ever since. [Prison Break] revolves around Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), an engineer incarcerated at Fox River State Prison after an armed robbery. This may sound like a mistake... In fact, everything is going according to plan. For Michael has dreamed up a plan to help his innocent brother Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) escape from death row.
