Strands #154

"In glove"

Hello Strands fans! Today's theme "in the glove" is quite literal, but open to many interpretations. Thankfully, I quickly found the word "CUTICLE" in the lower right corner and the rest was a checklist of hand parts.

Next came NAIL to its left, then MIDDLE came behind along the top row; RING was directly below it, and THUMB was in the upper right, leaving room for PINKY.

I was too in tune to pay attention to the SPANGRAM, but the top half was over and I couldn't ignore it any longer. I spotted the word "hand" right under THUMB and followed it backwards to spell ONHAND across the board.

There were only two words left, PALM was on the bottom left just below the beginning of the spangram, and all that remained was to decipher the anagram of IPONRTE. It did not take much time to figure out that it was POINTER to complete the puzzle.
