September is the customary month for Apple to announce new iPhone models, but the exact date remains up in the air. According to the latest rumors, Apple may announce the iPhone 16 lineup on September 10.

This is according to a weekend report from CNMO Technology News, as spotted by Phone Arena. Adding credibility to it is the fact that September 10 is a Tuesday, which is usually the day of the week when Apple holds its iPhone launch event. Although the iPhone 14 bucked that trend in 2022, Apple instead held its big event on a Wednesday. all four models, including the iPhone 16 Ultra, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, will be available starting September 20.

However, CNMO does not have a track record with these kinds of rumors, so we recommend taking that date with a grain of salt for now. But thanks to all the rumors, from the iPhone 16's battery capacity to its design upgrades, we do have some clues as to what to expect from Apple's new model.

The vanilla-colored iPhone 16 is rumored to be available in seven colors: black, blue, pink, yellow, green, white, and purple, while the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max should come in rose/desert yellow, gray, space black, and white The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max should come in Rose/Desert Yellow, Gray, Space Black and White. According to previous reports, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have much larger screens, at 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively. As for what's in the hood, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus should inherit the A17 Pro chip currently used in the iPhone 15 Pro model and run on the 3-nanometer A18 chip. The Pro models, on the other hand, are likely to have a more powerful version of the A18 chip. iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max may also have an improved telephoto camera, with the iPhone 16 Pro expected to feature a tetra prism telephoto lens with 5x zoom capability.
