Top 5 New Shows Available This Week on Netflix, Max, TV and More (August 5-11)

The first week of August is hot, hot, hot with new shows premiering on Netflix, Prime Video, other streaming services, and broadcast and cable channels.

This week's lineup of new programming includes two fan-anticipated shows entering their final seasons: "Umbrella Academy" Season 4 and "SEAL Team" Season 7. Also, "Industry" Season 3 returns, along with financial drama and relationship messes. Plus, Stephen Curry takes on comedy in "Mr. Throwback." Here are the top new shows to check out this week.

The dancing girl and mom drama reality show is rebooting. Coach Glo Hampton takes the spotlight from Abby Lee Miller. She and her team at Studio Blue made several appearances on the original series. She trains eight little dancers each week to compete on a national level. Appearing with them are moms who are more demanding, tantrum-prone, and competitive than their children. Gro has her hands full creating new routines and nurturing the skills of these girls, all the while maintaining an air of understated diplomacy.

Premieres Wednesday, August 7 at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu

Basketball star Steph Curry has recorded many firsts this summer, including his first appearance at the Olympics and his first scripted appearance on a television show. Curry is not exaggerating, as he appears as a version of himself in Mr. Throwback. Adam Parry stars in the mockumentary as a down-on-his-luck memorabilia dealer who reunites with his sixth-grade teammate, Steph, an NBA star who, with the help of production company director Kimberly (Ego Nwodim), makes the documentary filming and attempts to help Danny redeem himself. Will Danny regain his former glory days, or will he fail even more?
