However, the best option for watching every second of the Olympics is NBC's streaming service Peacock, which promises to live stream every event of the Paris Olympics and provide daily highlights of the biggest medal-winning moments The service is available for a monthly fee of $7.99 per month. Viewing requires a Premium membership ($7.99/month) or Premium Plus membership ($13.99/month, no annoying ads).

Cord cutters can opt for Sling TV; the Sling Blue package starts at $40/month and offers access to over 30 channels, including NBC (in select markets), USA, and MSNBC. 23]

However, Sling only offers NBC in select markets. offered, so it may not be the right choice for you. In that case, you should opt for Fubo, which includes all NBC channels airing Olympic 2024 events; Fubo's Pro plan costs $79.99/month, giving you 121 channels for a hefty investment.

Finding a straightforward answer on how to watch the 2024 Olympics in 4K was a bit of a challenge. However, after thorough research, we have found the answer you seek.

According to a press release from the 4K-HDR Summit, the Olympic Broadcast Service will provide a complete UHD (4K) HDR broadcast of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. This 4K HDR feed will then be made available to various broadcast partners around the world.

In the U.S., to watch the Olympics in 4K, head to USA Network, which, according to NBC Sports, will provide a “24/7 simulcast” of the Paris Games. This “enhanced 4K” broadcast will also offer Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos sound; NewcastStudio further notes that this 4K USA Network simulcast will be available “on Altice, Comcast, Cox, DirecTV/DirecTV Stream, Dish, Fubo, Verizon, YouTube TV, and some participating NCTC members.

Of these options, our recommendation for watching the 2024 Olympics is Fubo.

Outside of the U.S., it appears that Eurosport will offer 4K HDR broadcasts to European viewers (Broadband TV News). Unfortunately, we were unable to find any broadcasters publicly advertising 4K broadcasts of the Summer Olympics to our friends in the UK and Canada.

Also, as mentioned above, if you want to watch Olympic 2024 in 4K in Australia, you need Stan Sport; a $15 Stan Sport add-on allows you to watch all sessions of all Olympic events ad-free. You also need the Stan Premium basic plan for $21 per month. This may be the best 4K service in any country, as no other service offers 4K coverage of all competitions.

Just keep in mind that you will need a 4K TV to experience the Summer Olympics in 4K, and some TV providers may require a 4K add-on or upgrade fee. Some providers may also require a 4K-capable set-top box.

Surprisingly, this year's Summer Olympics will have at least an 8K broadcast; TV Technology reported earlier this year that Intel Xeon processors will be used to bring an “end-to-end 8K live streaming experience” for the first time ever. And YouTube has footage of six 8K broadcast trucks from China Media Group arriving in Paris.

The problem is that we have yet to find a place where we can actually watch this 8K broadcast. If I do find one, rest assured I will report it here. But to watch the 2024 Olympics in 8K, you will need an 8K TV.
