This crime thriller has the feel of “Silence of the Lambs.” To be clear, don't expect anything as good as the 1991 classic (still available on Prime Video for a limited time), but there are some similarities.

In “The Cult Killer,” Alice Eve stars as Cathy Holt, a private detective trying to figure out who killed her mentor. To solve the case, she forms an unlikely alliance with serial killer Mikal Tarini (Antonio Banderas). But as she delves deeper into the criminal underworld, she discovers a dark secret and must not only solve the murder of her mentor, but also exonerate him of his heinous crime.

“Bad Boys for Life” has been hovering around Hulu's top 10 for some time now, perhaps due to the recent release of the sequel “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” The third film in the “Bad Boys” franchise, ” Bad Boys for Life,” stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, who return as Miami detectives Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett.

This installment of the action franchise follows the pair as they confront a new threat in ruthless cartel leader Isabel Aretas (Kate del Castillo) and her son Armando (Jacob Scipio). Along the way, they must also deal with personal challenges and evolving friendships. If you like the “Bad Boys” combination of comedy, drama, action, and explosions, then “Bad Boys for Life” is the film to watch this week on Hulu.

I say this with love. But maybe I should, because I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the trailer for “White Chicks”. I haven't seen this movie since it came out, and now I'm seriously considering having to see it again.

Directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, “White Chicks” stars his brothers Sean and Marlon as FBI agents Marcus and Kevin Copeland. Treading on thin ice after they accidentally screw up a drug bust, they are forced to escort sisters Brittany and Tiffany Wilson on a weekend in the Hamptons. After another screw-up, the sisters are injured and the Copeland brothers are forced to go undercover... Using prosthetics, they try to convince the wealthy Hamptons that they are the Wilson sisters. Will it work? That remains to be seen.
