Google's Pixel 9 smartphone lineup has been leaking for months, but there has been little news about a possible sequel to the Pixel Buds Pro 2
A surprise leak on Reddit (spotted by 9to5Google) revealed a case from accessory maker Spigen on Amazon As of this writing, the image posted is no longer available on Amazon
Unlike Samsung's recently released Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Google appears to be sticking with the same design as the original Pixel Buds Pro, while remaining stemless
There are some design changes, though The exposed housing appears to have a taller capacitive touch sensor, taking up more space
The earphone grilles are more prominent and are now the same color as the earphones instead of black
The images reveal at least two colorways of the earphones The most obvious is the pink color In one of the smaller images, a white earphone can be seen in the ear of a woman who appears to be jogging
An earlier leak reported by 9to5Google claims that the new earbuds will come in four colors: “Raspberry,” “Mojito,” “Porcelain,” and “Haze” What is seen in the composite image is probably Raspberry and Porcelain
Leaked information from Spigen shows a transparent case with a lanyard that allows the charging case to be fastened to a belt loop or bag This appears to be similar to the current charging case for the Pixel Buds Pro According to the leaked image, the case is compatible with the Pixel Buds Pro and the upcoming Pixel Buds Pro 2
A USB-C charging port can be seen at the bottom of the case The case has a small notch for a strap or speaker for Google's Find My Device network, and there is speculation that it is for Apple's AirPods Pro 2 feature
