Now in its fifth year, the Tom's Guide Awards recognize the best sleep and mattress products of 2024. From hundreds of top-class mattresses and accessories, a team of expert mattress testers selected the best beds in a variety of categories, including beds that were judged to be the best overall mattresses.

In addition to the beds, we also collected the best sleep accessories, including the best performing pillows, mattress protectors, and mattress toppers of the year. Not surprisingly, most of this year's winners are well-known brands with impeccable reputations in the industry, including Saatva, Tempur-Pedic, and Helix.

Below are all of this year's winners and an explanation of why each product was selected for the award over stiff competition.

In fact, when it comes time to retest, everyone on our team puts this mattress in contention. The Saatva Classic is not cheap, but it is more cost-effective with a lifetime warranty compared to luxury handmade mattresses sold only in stores. but the Saatva Classic comes very close. [But the DreamCloud Hybrid puts that nonsense to one side. As the best mattress-in-a-box of the year for all budgets, the DreamCloud looks and performs like a much more expensive mattress. Approximately 74% of Americans sleep on their sides, and while this is the optimal sleeping position for cardiovascular health and digestion, it also puts a great deal of strain on the shoulders, hips, and knees.
