NFL Sunday is fast approaching; the NFL season begins with the Hall of Fame Game on August 1, and now you can get Sunday tickets for free.

For those who don't know, Sunday Ticket allows you to see all regular season off-market games. In other words, you can't use them to watch the Houston Texans vs. the Chicago Bears in Canton, Ohio, but you can watch off-market games starting at 1 p.m. ET on September 8, when the first Sunday of the regular season begins.

The only catch to this great offer? You need Verizon. For a limited time, Verizon is giving away Sunday tickets to select customers. Here's how to find out if you're eligible and how to redeem the offer once you get it.

There are several ways to get free Sunday tickets. You can add either a new or existing wireless customer or Verizon's “premium” home Internet service. Eligibility details are as follows:

The good news is that you don't have to be eligible for free NFL Sunday Ticket to get the $100 discount just for being a Verizon customer.

To take advantage of the free NFL Sunday Ticket offer, you must activate the offer in My Verizon and activate your Sunday Ticket subscription through YouTube. The deadline is December 10 or within 60 days of taking advantage of the offer, whichever comes first. This offer cannot be combined with an existing Sunday Ticket subscription.

Verizon has confirmed that this promotional subscription can only access Sunday Ticket through YouTube Primetime Channels.NFL Sunday Ticket will be and does not require a YouTube TV subscription, as it is the same product on both platforms.

Finally, there is an offer from Verizon! In addition to the aforementioned Sunday Ticket promotion, Verizon is offering a $10/month (12 months) discount on the basic YouTube TV subscription for all 5G Home, LTE Home, and Fios Internet customers. Those who already subscribe or have previously subscribed to a basic YouTube TV plan are not eligible, but anyone else can take advantage of one of the best cable alternatives at a discounted price.
