The opening ceremony of the Paris Games will take place throughout the day. In the U.S., live coverage of the opening ceremony will begin at 12:00 PM (EST). The main event will officially begin live coverage at 1:30 PM ET. If you miss the live broadcast, there will be an encore broadcast in primetime on NBC. The encore broadcast will begin at 7:30 PM ET.
