Hello Strands fans! Even though I have little interest in the Olympics, I was able to solve today's puzzle with no difficulty The theme “Go for the gold” must be about the Olympics which starts today in Paris (Side note: Here's how to watch the 2024 Olympics online)
Anyway, my suspicions were confirmed almost instantly when I saw OLYMPICS written diagonally from left to right on the board
My great fear was that this was not about a competition (of which I knew something), but about a medal winner (of which I knew nothing)
Thankfully, that concern was short-lived, as I found KARATE in the bottom right corner That was followed by swimming, golf, and track, completing the bottom half of the board
The top section had only two answers, both long words Thankfully, the 'Q' in EQUESTRIAN was a clue All that was left to complete the puzzle was the ARCHERY in the middle of the board
