If you're a film buff like me, you'll find it fascinating to hear Elizabeth Taylor talk about her own complicated life.

“Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes” uses 40 hours of newly discovered, previously unreleased interviews between Taylor and LIFE magazine journalist Richard Merriman, giving the star the opportunity to tell her own story in her own voice and to use these tapes and combined with unprecedented access to Taylor's archives, paint a picture of how she has lived her life in the public eye and what challenges she has faced.

Premieres August 3 on Max

Hard to believe, but “House of Dragons” Season 2 is already nearing its end. The second chapter of George R.R. Martin's brutal civil war has already introduced shocking moments, death, and drama, demonstrating more than ever the raw destructive power of dragons. With some of the best episodes of the season (such as “Rook's Rest”), there is no doubt that the finale will be a truly unmissable piece of TV.

“Industry” follows a group of young bankers from the London office of investment bank Pierpoint & Co. and gives us an inside look at the world of high finance. Written by a former banker, it is a compelling piece of work that makes you want to root for ambitious young graduates. Never mind the financial jargon, let's concentrate on the human drama that paints a poignant picture of this high-flying world. Now that “Succession” has ended, this is a very solid follow-up to “Succession.
