“Omnivore” is a documentary series narrated by celebrity chef René Redzepi. The show explores the global impact and cultural significance of eight essential ingredients: bananas, chili, coffee, corn, pork, rice, salt, and tuna. Each episode will travel to a different country, including Denmark, Thailand, Japan, and Mexico, to show how these ingredients have shaped societies and cultures throughout history.

Along with Emmy Award-winning producer Matt Goulding, Rzepi will guide viewers through the fascinating stories surrounding these ingredients. Now, if you like tension, there's a new Natalie Portman drama series you'll love. Lady in the Lake is a gripping noir thriller set in 1966 Baltimore. The story revolves around Maddy Schwartz (Portman), a Jewish housewife who is reinventing herself as an investigative journalist.

Her life intersects with her mother, Cleo Johnson (Moses Ingram), who is trying to get behind the scenes of Baltimore's black political underbelly. But things take a turn when Maddie becomes obsessed with two separate murders: the mysterious death of Cleo and an 11-year-old girl named Tessie Durst (Bianca Bell). Her investigation soon leads to a dangerous unraveling that affects everyone involved.

One show I enjoy that reminds me of a darker version of “Big Hero 6” is the new comedy-drama “Sunny.” The show follows Susie (Rashida Jones), an American woman living in Kyoto, Japan, as she copes with the sudden and mysterious death of her husband and son in a plane crash. To “cope” with her grief, she is given a household robot named Sunny (voiced by Joanna Tonomura), created by her husband's electronics company.

Suzue is initially hesitant to interact with the slightly creepy robot, but eventually develops an unlikely friendship with the robot as the two uncover the dark truth behind her family's disappearance. Sunny” also weaves in comedy, focusing on the dark side of grief and how it manifests itself in different ways for each person.
