Tenax (Leon) is ready to trample anyone or anything to climb the social ladder, and his shrewd instincts and ruthless side make him a great draw.

Nevertheless, he is still far from the status of the renowned charioteer Scorpus (Dimitri Leonidas). His success in the circus Maximus has brought him fame and untold riches, riches that gladiator Viggo (Johannes Hauckl Johannesson) and Kwame (Mo Hashim) would die to have.
