This year has been a great year for films and shows so far, and it looks like the momentum will continue with the upcoming prequel series “Dune: The Prophecy.”

We last saw a brief but stunning teaser for this show in May. But now we know exactly what month the show will be streaming (and it's coming sooner than you think).

“‘Dune’: The Prophecy” is set 10,000 years ago when Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) comes to power. The film follows two sisters of the Harkonnen family as they confront an ordeal that endangers the future of humanity and lays the foundation for the legendary Order of the Bene Gesellit.

The prequel show was inspired by the novel “Sisters of Dune,” written by Brian Herbert, son of Frank Herbert, author of “Dune,” and co-writer Kevin J. Anderson. Developing the foundation laid by the novel, the film delves into the rich lore of the “Dune” universe by exploring the origins of key characters and organizations that are pivotal to the epic saga.

This new trailer focuses on the formative years of the Bene Gesellit, depicting the power struggles and intrigues within the vast universe. 'You wish to serve a great house and shape the flow of power. You must first exert power over yourself.

The “Dune”: Bene Gesserit is a secret society of women who have been given extraordinary abilities through the mastery of both mind and body. They must truly navigate the feudal politics and intrigue of the Imperium and advance their own hidden agendas that will ultimately lead them to the mysterious planet Arrakis.

Although the trailer's running time is only 1 minute and 10 seconds, it offers a glimpse into the turmoil within the Imperium.

The confirmed cast includes Emily Watson as Valya Harkonnen, Tabu as Sister Francesca, Travis Fimmel as Desmond Hart, Olivia Williams as Toula Harkonnen, Constantine Corino Josh Huston, Mark Strong as Emperor Giavicco, and Jodi May as Empress Natalya.
