New on Netflix: 7 Movies and Shows to Watch This Week (July 8-14)

Following last week's fireworks, this week's new Netflix release features exploding cats.

"Exploding Kittens" is a fun and entertaining animated feature about God being banished from heaven and banished to earth to live as a cat. When it is revealed that the cat next door is an anti-Christian, he must prepare for a battle between light and dark. Based on this card game, this may not sound strange on paper.

There is also "Receivers," which features five of the NFL's best pass catchers throughout the 2023 season. The Boyfriend, Japan's first same-sex dating show, follows a group of men who live together, love each other, and run a coffee truck.

"Boyfriend" is a pioneering Japanese reality show that follows nine men on a month-long journey of self-discovery and romance as they live together in a picturesque seaside mansion called "The Green Room."
