A month after "Umbrella Academy" Season 4, Netflix has released a new trailer for this superhero show. The Hargreaves family's final adventure seems to be as cutthroat as ever.

After the events at the Hotel Oblivion, the siblings find themselves in an alternate new timeline, where their bodies have been restored and their powers have been lost ...... And Reginald was alive again.

The teaser trailer released in May gave us a taste of what was to come, but this fresh footage gives us a clearer idea of the trouble the psychic siblings will face. Not surprisingly, the world is coming to an end again, and it is Victor (Elliot Page) and his friends who will save the day.

As befits the soundtrack to My Chemical Romance's "The End," the "Umbrella Academy" Season 4 trailer gives us our first look at the conspiracy theorist, played by Nick Offerman, as Ben (Justin H. Min), the mind previews that he is the "key" to understanding everything in the bending series. It also teases new power and plenty of action. The last six episodes should be watched immediately.

The synopsis for Season 4 is as follows: "The Hargreaves siblings were scattered after a climactic showdown at the Hotel Oblivion completely reset the timeline. Deprived of their powers, the Hargreaves siblings are left to fend for themselves and find a new normal. But ignoring their spooky new world doesn't last long. [Their father, Reginald, is alive and well, stepping out of the shadows and into the public eye, overseeing a powerful and evil business empire. A mysterious group known as the Keepers meets in secret, believing that the reality they live in is a lie and that a great reckoning is approaching. The Umbrella Academy must unite one last time as it becomes entangled in the intrigues of this strange new force.

"Umbrella Academy" Season 4 will be available on Netflix on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
