The best new feature of Apple TV Plus in years is finally here.

For those testing the 3rd beta of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and tvOS 18, Apple InSight is finally available in the Apple TV app.

InSight was originally announced at Apple's WWDC event, but was not available in previous beta versions. However, the current beta version (via MacRumors) makes InSight available for select Apple TV Plus shows; similar to Amazon Prime video's X-Ray feature, users can tap on an actor's name to see a list of other projects, and tapping the song playing will add it to their Apple Music saved songs.

InSight is designed to work well with Apple's other service ecosystems; whether InSight will be able to work with other apps like Spotify or add X-Ray-inspired features like show and movie trivia is There is no indication yet as to whether they will. For now, we will have to wait for the full release to see how Insight integrates with all the options.

Apple TV users will have the best experience when using InSight because they can link their iPhone to their account and view InSight information on the device. This means that they can check all the necessary information without blocking the view of the program they are trying to watch.

Speaking of shows, it's a great time to invest in Apple TV+ thanks to the wealth of new shows announced during the WWDC 2024 keynote. For example, during the show, Apple announced the long-awaited second season of "Severance," although it did not reveal the first air date." In addition to "Severance," there were also short showcases for "Silo," the spy thriller "Slow Horses," the historical epic "Pachinko," and the therapeutic comedy "Shrinking.
