Hello Strands fans! I was sent a bit the wrong way in this puzzle by the fact that you can almost make a 'burrito' on the left side if the 'R' is not missing.
But even with that minor delay, it didn't take much to get the first words on the board: 'CHIVES' and 'BROCCOLI'.
I had never heard of broccoli as a filling for jacket potatoes in the UK, but the chives pointed me in the right direction and I completed the BAKEDPOTATO spangram in the middle of the board.
CHEDDAR - a much more common filling on this side of the Atlantic - completed the right side, and I soon found BUTTER on the left. This neatly sliced the remaining two answers: CHILI to the north and BACON to the south.
All this made me hungry. Interestingly, I had actually put a large potato in the oven before starting today's puzzle. The solution to yesterday's strand can be found here.
