Half a decade later, we return to the franchise with The Platform 2.

Director Gardel Gaztel Urrutia (director of the original film) once again takes the megaphone. The sequel will feature another group of residents trapped inside a towering structure known as the "Vertical Self-Control Center."

Given the harrowing events of the previous film, it is not surprising that the first "The Platform 2" trailer is equally harrowing. The trailer doesn't say much about how this installment will unfold, but it certainly hints at a lot of chaos. It's full of gory scenes: corpses, fire, angry crowds, body parts, and more. The gruesome teaser concludes with the confirmation that the film will be released on October 4, 2024.
