Apple TV Plus Top 10 Shows - Here are 3 shows worth watching now

Sometimes scrolling through the best streaming services can be overwhelming. With so many movies and shows being added to each platform all the time, knowing what to stream next can feel like an impossible task (I've experienced it many times), although if I'm scrolling for more than five minutes, I often turn to the streamer's top 10 list, In this case it would be Apple TV Plus.

In recent months, the Apple TV Plus has really stepped up in the entertainment world. There are plenty of highly rated original shows, and the Top 10 list includes several shows worth watching. So here are three quality shows that definitely deserve attention.

This is based on the Apple TV Plus Top 10 shows as of Monday, July 15.

My favorite drama of the year is Sunny. Starring Rashida Jones, the show follows Susie, an American living in Kyoto, Japan, who is suddenly thrown into despair when her husband and son are "lost" in a plane crash. She receives as a consolation a household robot named Sunny (voiced by Joanna Tonomura) from her husband's electronics company.

The robot seems strange and somewhat uneasy at first, but Susie eventually grows attached to it and the two form an unlikely bond. Together they try to solve what happened to their family, and Susie discovers a dangerous world she never knew existed. The first two episodes are streaming on Apple TV Plus, and we can already tell that this show will get even better.

If you're looking for a change of pace from drama, the sci-fi thriller Dark Matter is a great choice. Starring Joel Edgerton as Jason Dessen, a homely physicist kidnapped by an alternate version of his own life, the film follows the adventures of a young man who is on a quest to find out what happened to him. What begins as a curious expedition quickly turns into a nightmare as Jason navigates a maze of different realities and tries to get back to his real family. Along the way, he faces his toughest opponent: another version of himself. After watching each episode, it makes you think long and hard.

"Severance" is back in the top 10, which is understandable given that many people want to review it before season 2 is released in January 2025.

The psycho-thriller and sci-fi drama revolves around an employee of Lumon Industries who undergoes a procedure called "amputation," which surgically separates his professional and personal memories. In other words, while at work, they have no memory of their personal lives, and vice versa. We primarily follow Mark Scout (Adam Scott), one of the amputated employees, as he discovers various secrets and begins to question the nature and intentions of the company.
