Fans of "Umbrella Academy," unlike the Hargreaves family, cannot see into the future. With less than a month to go before the acclaimed Netflix series returns, it's hard to contain our excitement for the final season. Luckily, the popular streamer has provided us with a tidbit of information to hold us over until August 8: the titles and synopses of all episodes of "Umbrella Academy" Season 4.

To paraphrase an old saying, episodes should never be judged by their titles, so as an added bonus, Tudum asked showrunner Steve Blackman to provide a brief synopsis that gives a little preview of what we can expect in each chapter of the grand finale.

Episode 1: "The Excruciating Tragedy of Getting What You Want." Who doesn't love a birthday party?

Episode 2: "Jean and Jean. They both have a pants-only relationship.

Episode 3: "The Squid and the Girl Two paths cross and one squid enters.

Episode 4: "Purification." Apparently there are not enough wise men in the universe.

Episode 5: "Six Years, Five Months and Two Days." The Hargreaves siblings find themselves doing the impossible: teaming up with their father.

Episode 6: "The End of the Beginning." What doesn't kill you makes you stronger: ...... Right?

It is difficult to decipher any major clues from these titles. But you can pick up a few clues, especially if you've seen the "Umbrella Academy" Season 4 trailer.

First, the second episode mentions Gene and Jean. Specifically, Gene and Jean are two professors at a Midwestern community college, played by Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman. These stars of Parks and Recreation seem to be leading the charge in trying to restore the timeline to what it once was. Or at least they hope to find out why things have changed in the first place.

Another major revelation comes from the title of Episode 3, "The Squid and the Girl." As the trailer reveals, Ben Hargreaves (or "that tentacle boy"), played by Justin H. Ming, is involved in the timeline change. His brothers point out that no one remembers how his brother died in the original timeline.

When the superhero team uncovers the mystery of the timeline, Ben will almost certainly play a key role in the investigation. But who is the hero girl mentioned? Could it be another Hargreaves child? Or is it Sloane, a former member of the Sparrow Academy and Luther's wife, who has not been seen since the incident at the Hotel Oblivion? Or is it a whole new piece of the puzzle that has yet to be revealed?

We'll soon find out when the fourth and final season of "Umbrella Academy" premieres on Netflix on August 8.
