Top 10 Netflix Movies - Here are 3 worth watching now!

Now that summer is in full swing, Netflix has a lot of great movies on Netflix. Whenever I'm not sure what to watch next, I always look at the Top 10 Most Watched Movies. Of course, there's no guarantee that all of them will be winners, but it's a good way to quickly cut through the noise.

We separated the wheat from the chaff and narrowed down the top three movies to watch on Netflix's Top 10 list. This list includes a beloved reboot of an '80s action series starring Eddie Murphy, a heartwarming sports drama about overcoming challenges, and a '90s children's movie filled with nostalgia and joy.

This article is based on the Netflix Top 10 list of the most-watched movies in the U.S. as of 12 p.m. ET on July 13. For more recommendations on what to watch across the best streaming services, check out all of Netflix's new arrivals this month.

For the second week in a row, the reboot of the popular 80s action-comedy franchise was the most-watched film on Netflix. In "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F," Eddie Murphy returns as the devious Detective Axel Foley, one of his fan-favorite comedic characters.

This time, he returns to Los Angeles to reunite with his estranged daughter (Taylor Page). Forced to team up with her ex-boyfriend (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) to solve the case, the three find themselves chasing a serious conspiracy and enlist their old friends to get to the bottom of it. With Murphy's signature wit, the film blends thrilling action and comedy, and features familiar faces such as Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton), as well as new characters. With a 79% attendance at Rotten Tomatoes, "Beverly Hills Cop: Accel F" looks to be a rare masterpiece in the long-awaited reboot.

With the summer Olympics just around the corner, check out one of the best sports dramas of the year, set in the 1950s, about a young Mexican-American expelled from a whites-only country club, It is the little-known but remarkable true story of a group of young Mexican-Americans who were expelled from a whites-only country club and started their own golf team in the border town of Del Rio, Texas. The Long Game was not an immediate hit in theaters, but it was warmly received by critics and audiences alike, the latter giving it an unusually high 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

If you've never held a golf club before, don't worry. You don't have to be a fan to enjoy this underdog tale. Despite the lack of professional training and quality equipment, the team overcomes all odds to win the Texas High School Golf Championship. Described as "a 'Field of Dreams' set in the golf world," this feel-good sports movie is a true hole-in-one hit.

"Matilda" was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Based on Roald Dahl's book of the same name, Mara Wilson plays the girl of the same name, a precocious bookworm who struggles with her relationship with her coarse and distant parents (Danny DeVito and Lea Perlman).

When Matilda is finally old enough to attend school, she is soon united with a kind and caring teacher, Miss Honey (Embeth Davidtz). However, when Matilda realizes she has telekinetic powers, she begins to protect her friends from the cruel principal Agatha Trunchbull (Pam Ferris) and fight back against the adults who have failed her.
