The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6's rumored design refresh and biggest hardware upgrade have been revealed in freshly leaked images.

The proof is in the form of a quartet of new, seemingly official renderings of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 provided by acclaimed leaker Evan "Evleaks" Brass. These images show the phone both folded and partially open, showing primarily the outer display. However, that does not stop us from gaining information about the contents of this phone.

The image featuring the camera preview is the most interesting. A "2x" icon can be seen in the lower corner of the cover display, suggesting that the phone will offer some sort of zoom. Looking at other rumors we've heard, this would be consistent with the Galaxy Z Flip 6's main camera having an increased resolution of 50MP, up from 12MP on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. While the new foldable will not yet have a proper telephoto camera, a 50MP main camera would allow for lossless in-sensor zooming similar to that found on the Galaxy S24.

In other renderings, we can see the familiar camera, alarm, health, weather, sleep, and photo widgets on the cover display, which were introduced for easy access in this new form last year on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. We also see wallpapers featured by the subtle "6", in case you forgot which version of the Samsung Flip Foldable this was.

Moving on to the frame, we can admire the phone's blue color, one of four colors tilted for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and another three tilted as offered exclusively from the Samsung store. The camera surround also matches the frame, another subtle visual change that helps the Galaxy Z Flip 6 stand out from last year's model.

The Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on July 10, at which time the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to debut; the Galaxy Z Fold 6 should also be there, but the star of the show will likely be the new wearable Galaxy Expect to see the Galaxy Watch 7, the more premium Galaxy Watch Ultra, and the new Galaxy Buds 3 earphones.
