Watch Out, Galaxy Z Fold 6 - Xiaomi's New Foldable Leaked

Samsung is working on the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which will be unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. But the company is not the only one working on a new foldable. A new leak shows off the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4, which looks like an attractive foldable smartphone.

The leak comes from an image posted to X by Evan Blass, showing off perhaps the least exciting part of the foldable: the back of the phone. After all, we want to see the huge screen and hinges to see how the folding will work. Still, a large camera array with the Leica brand logo is visible on the back. We also see four lenses, a flash, and a mirror panel.

Blass also shed some light on the camera's hardware, revealing that it has a 50MP primary sensor. Leica will provide the lens and processing power for this camera, which should help it capture high-quality images.

The previously released images also show off the powdery silver coloring. The images also show off the bright silver hinges, barely peeking out from the sides of the device.

Finally, we know a little more about the phone's specs. It reportedly has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with wireless charging capabilities, a 5,000mAh+ battery, and IPX8 water resistance (which is standard for foldable devices and does not appear to have dust resistance).

Importantly, Blass stated that this image may not be "final." This means that significant changes could be seen as the device moves through the development process. On the other hand, it is also possible that we may not see many changes, so we will have to wait until the phone is officially announced or further leaks emerge to know more details.

Based on the August release date of the Mix Fold 3, it is possible that the new phone will be available as early as next month. However, according to reports, the phone will not be released globally, and we will have to wait to see which regions Xiaomi will launch it in.
