OnePlus Nord 4 Image Leak Reveals Stunning New Design

OnePlus will hold its "Summer Launch Event" in Milan on July 16, which is expected to be the launch of its next mid-range phone, the OnePlus Nord 4. Details have been kept under wraps so far, but newly leaked images may show what the phone could look like, including a two-tone rear panel.

OnePlus Club has posted what appears to be promotional material for the phone on X, showcasing its design. Interestingly, they also point out that the phone is made of metal.

OnePlus previously partnered with Finnish metal band Lordi (perhaps best known for winning the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest) to preview its metal finish. Now that we've seen metal in action, it's a definite win. For there is no high-end plastic that can compete with metal or glass.

The phone pictured is available in silver, green, and black. It also has a straight-edge design with curved corners and two horizontally aligned camera lenses on the back. We also see a very thin bezel, a perforated front camera lens, and a OnePlus alert slider in the upper left corner of the phone.

Earlier leaks indicate that the Nord 4 will feature a 6.74" 1.5K OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset, 5,500 mAH battery, 100W fast charging support, 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 16MP selfie shooter. Not bad for a mid-range phone, but we won't know how well the Nord 4 performs until it is actually released.

These details will no doubt be confirmed (or refuted) on July 16. It won't be that long.
