Hey Strands fans I thought today's piece was quite tough Aside from garden gnomes, there isn't much of a culture of lawn ornaments in the UK, so I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for
Even when I found GNOME in the hints, I wasn't sure of the correct terminology I found PLANTER by accident under it, but then had to use another clue to find FLAMINGO
Thankfully, this covered enough boards to understand the spangram: LAWNORNAMENTS was spelled backwards from bottom to top
As a result, I now know where the last two answers lie: WINDSOCK curled around itself in the upper right corner On the other side, BIRDBATH remained
Tough problem Hopefully tomorrow will be easier
