What are the main specs revealed in the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 leak?

Samsung's Galaxy Watch FE has already been announced, but the Galaxy Watch 7 should also be coming, and is expected to be unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked next month.A leaked retail listing from Amazon Canada (via PassionateGeekz), the day may have given us a bunch of key specs expected on the ...

The listing doesn't appear to show any images, but it's safe to assume that it will look relatively similar to previous models. At the very least, it seems certain that it will be released in a 40mm design like the Galaxy Watch 6. There is no sign of a 44m model, but its absence could be attributed to having an entirely separate sales page.

Talking about hardware, the Galaxy Watch 7 appears to offer a 3nm AP chipset that is said to offer better power efficiency and smoother operation. Its power efficiency is said to be "several days of use on a single charge," but how long it will last is not specified.

However, FCC certification suggests that the battery will provide 15W of charge compared to the current model's 10W. Therefore, no matter how long the Galaxy Watch 7's battery lasts, the charging speed should clearly be faster.

Health monitoring is said to be offered in the form of "advanced" heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen detection, stress and sleep quality analysis, as well as "various workout modes." All of these will be offered as part of Samsung's BioActiveSensor 2.

It is important to note that the watch is said to come with its own AI companion. This companion will apparently function as part of the sleep and exercise monitoring as well as communication, including the Galaxy AI smart reply system. it is unclear how AI will be integrated into these functions, but by making extra machine power available could potentially suggest new features and better ways to improve.

Given that the Watch 7 is rumored to include sleep apnea detection, it may be one of those upgrades that relies on combining new software with existing hardware rather than adding brand new sensors.

Priced at $358.55 CAD, or around $299 in the U.S., more details are sure to be announced at Galaxy Unpacked, which is rumored to be held on July 10, along with color options. In the meantime, you can check out our Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 hub for all the latest news and updates on what to expect.
