When "Cobra Kai" Season 6 returns to Netflix with all of its martial arts mayhem, fans can expect to see familiar faces like Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio), John Cleese (Martin Cove), Samantha Larusso (Mary Mauser), Miguel Diaz (Zorro Maridueña) and other familiar faces you can be sure to see. [Fans may be wondering if regular character Raymond "Stingray" Porter, played by Paul Walter Hauser, will return to the dojo in new episodes. (Speaking of which, Season 6 will be delivered in three installments. The first five episodes of Season 6 will be released on Thursday, July 18, the next five on Thursday, November 28, and the last five on an as yet unannounced date in 2025)

Stingray, last seen by "Cobra Chi" viewers, finally admits the truth about being mortally wounded by the authorities, exposing the corruption of Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) and leading to Silver's arrest. (Meanwhile, Cleese, who had been falsely named as Raymond's assailant, escaped from prison by faking his death with melted red jelly and a stolen card key.)

Hauser has recently become quite well-rounded as an actor. In addition to voicing a shy character in Inside Out 2, he will next be seen in the Apple TV Plus heist thriller The Instigators, opposite Matt Damon and Casey Affleck; Naked, with Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson Gun" reboot, and a role in "Press Your Luck," a drama about the 1984 Michael Larson cheating scandal that has "Cobra Kai" fans wondering if his character will appear in Season 6. [Luckily, the Emmy-winning actor recently confirmed to TV Insider his participation in the upcoming season: "As far as the final season, Stingray will definitely be in it. I won't say when or how, but there will be a farewell to Stingray."

Hauser also told the outlet that he was "part of the 'Karate Kid' and 'Cobra Kai' legends" and reflected on playing Stingray's character in the martial arts comedy-drama back in season two.

"When I was first offered that show, I was told on YouTube that it was a reboot of The Karate Kid. That sales pitch was, 'Do I want to do this? Then I watched the first three episodes and I was hooked. I fell in love with the show immediately," Hauser revealed. 'There were a couple of people in my camp who said if I didn't want to do it because it was crap, I didn't have to do it. I told them I didn't think it was silly. The people behind them took it very seriously and elevated it in a way that was kind of amazing. I did it, and it paid off big time."

"It means a lot to me to be part of the 'Karate Kid' and 'Cobra Kai' legend," he added.
