There are plenty of places for upcoming products to be leaked, but we didn't expect to see upcoming Samsung products leaked on Samsung's community forums. However, it seems to have happened to the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro, and a community post seems to have revealed many of the key specs and features of the upcoming Buds.

The post includes what looks like marketing materials, declaring that the Buds 3 series will be "where audio meets AI." Other details mean we can also see brand new internal drivers, enhanced battery life, adaptive EQ and IP57 waterproof rating.

Although not clearly visible from the teaser images, the new Buds are also claimed to offer a completely new design. Apparently this could come with stems, better controls and improved microphone quality. All of these are potentially very exciting upgrades, but it is the AI element that really piques our interest.

Samsung has already invested heavily in Galaxy AI, which is rumored to be included in the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 later this year; Galaxy phones also support Google Gemini, which means that Galaxy Buds will be able to use the phone Galaxy Buds could be integrated with one or more of these existing AI features without having to take the phone out.

Nothing earbuds already do this with ChatGPT, so it makes sense for rival smartphone and earbud manufacturers to do the same. Earphones and smartwatches could also be the perfect portable AI companion. They may also be more attractive to the masses than existing non-AI features like the Humane AI Pin or the Rabbit R1.

We won't know for sure until Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, likely at Galaxy Unpacked, which is rumored to be held on July 10. Rumors suggest that Samsung's latest foldable phone, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Ring, and Galaxy laptop will also make an appearance.
