Pixel 9 Pro Releases First Official Tease Video Ahead of Google Event

Despite its best efforts to keep things quiet, Google's Pixel 9 phones have been plagued by consistent leaks. We have a complete breakdown of everything that has surfaced so far about the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, and now Google has provided the first official teaser video for the upcoming Pixel 9 Pro in the Google Store.

The Pixel 9 Pro video was released shortly after Google announced that it would be hosting a Made by Google event on August 13 to show off all the new goodies related to Android, Pixel, and AI.

The video only briefly shows the back of the smartphone with the Roman numeral "IX" on the back of the phone. It also shows a small amount of the top of the camera rubber, which is definitely still prominent on the latest Pixel 9 Pro.

The teaser page also suggests that the launch is "coming soon," which is consistent with our expectations for the August event. It also says, "Don't miss the magic," but does not say much about the device, as most tech companies like to call their devices "magic" in some way.

The URL says "google_pixel_9_pro," which tells us exactly which version of Google's upcoming smartphone is featured in this video.

Among the leading rumors about the Pixel 9 Pro are black, white, green, and pink color variations, a Tensor G4 chip, a 6.1-inch screen, and a possible XL version with a larger 6.9-inch display

As mentioned, the Made by Google event will be streamed on August 13 at 10:00 a.m. PT, and we'll bring you all the information at that moment on Tom'sGuide's Google Event Live Blog, so make sure you're locked into Tom'sGuide to make sure you're ready for the event.
