While the Apple Watch 10 / Apple Watch X is expected to be unveiled along with the iPhone 16 at the Apple Event later this year, there is still much we don't know about the smartwatch But if there is even the slightest doubt about what the Apple Watch 10 will look like, these leaked CAD rendered images may take all of that uncertainty away
The renderings come from 91mobiles, which claims to have obtained CAD renderings of the watch from industry sources Not surprisingly, the rendered image follows the rectangular design of previous Apple Watches, but the screen size is 2 inches, which is significantly larger than other models
If true, the Apple Watch 10/X would have the largest screen of any Apple Watch, including the 193-inch Apple Watch Ultra and the 17-inch Apple Watch series 9 However, despite its larger screen size, 91mobile claims that the Apple Watch 10 will actually be smaller than the Apple Watch Ultra, which measures roughly 46 x 397 x 116mm (18 x 156 x 045 inches)
The Apple Watch Ultra is 49 x 44 x 144 mm, and its extra size is likely due to the more durable design adding more bulk
Rendered images also show that the Apple Watch 10/X will retain the digital crown and side buttons There are rumors that the watch may also feature a revamped magnetic band connection system, but there is no indication of this in these renderings Similarly, there is nothing to indicate what upgraded hardware Apple might pack into the watch
Earlier reports claimed that Apple would overhaul the Apple Watch 10, or Apple Watch X, to mark the 10th anniversary of the original Apple Watch's launch
Other rumors also claimed that the Apple Watch 10 would have an LTPO TFT screen, which could help improve battery life, but plans to add a microLED panel were reportedly scrapped Apple may also add sleep apnea and hypertension monitoring
We won't know if these renderings are truly accurate until Apple unveils the Apple Watch 10/X in September Until then, you can check out our Apple Watch 10 hub to catch up on all the latest news and rumors
