More bad news on the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, as both seem to be significantly higher according to leaked European pricing.

A total Euro value for five different storage variants of the two new foldables was shared by X users Sudhanshu Ambhore and Smartprix. This list has now been removed, but we still have a record of the prices.

Apparently the Galaxy Z Fold 6 starts at €2,200 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 at €1,330. A comparison of all costs and the actual launch prices of last year's Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 can be found in the table below.

Compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in Europe, the pricing of the new versions is €300 for the base model and €130 higher, with slightly smaller price increases for the larger storage variants. Given that these phones are already expensive, this is not the news we wanted to hear.

Sadly, these prices are somewhat in line with earlier rumors of a $100 price increase on both foldables. It is unclear why the European market will see a more significant price increase than the U.S., but whatever the final figure will be, it seems to be going up rather than staying the same.

While a full range of upgrades might make any price increase worthwhile, it appears that only one model will actually undergo significant changes: the Galaxy Z Fold 6, in addition to a new chipset and refreshed design. There appears to be a possibility of an Ultra model, but this is not a significant amount. The Galaxy Z Flip 6, on the other hand, is said to have a new chip, a larger battery, 12GB RAM by default, and a new 512GB storage version, plus a 50MP main camera over the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which is a one-generation upgrade that is more than expected.

The next Galaxy Unpacked event, where the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are expected to appear, is on the July 10 calendar. These two foldable phones may be overshadowed by the expected arrival of the brand new Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch Ultra wearable, but regardless, we will continue to keep them high in our Best Foldable Phones guide are going to challenge their pace to see if they can keep it up.
