Samsung Galaxy Unpacked is confirmed for July 10 The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 are expected to be announced Given all the leaks, it seems unlikely that Samsung will surprise us much on that date Especially since these leaks are not going to diminish anytime soon
The latest leak could reveal the official case for both foldables, courtesy of the leaker mystery Lupin, who posted a Post Image folder to their X account In the process, these leaks also add further to the growing mountain of evidence detailing what the phones will eventually look like in a few short weeks
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 appears to be little changed from the previous generation The basic flip phone design is the same, with a large cover screen similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 5 surrounding the two main cameras
The screen appears to be about the same size as last year, but it is difficult to gauge whether the case material has changed; the bezels on the Z Flip 5 were very chunky, but unfortunately we cannot see enough to guess how much has changed
The case itself looks fairly basic and apparently has a built-in ring grip Like the rings that can be affixed to the back of a cell phone, this should provide a stronger grip on the phone and in certain situations also serve as a stand
According to these renderings, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 appears to keep the tall and skinny look, despite rumors that it may adopt a fatter Pixel Fold-inspired design The vertical layout of the camera also remains the same, but the lens appears to be much chunkier this time around - perhaps due to the black casing that Samsung seems to have adopted
As for the case, we are a bit puzzled by this design choice On the back of the phone (folded) there are two vertical bars One of them looks like a stand of some sort, which makes sense, but the other one seems to be there just for symmetry Perhaps it could also function as a grip That might explain the rendering of the version of this case without the stand part
That bump is certainly not large enough to hold the S Pen; the S Pen is about the same length as the phone itself and appears to be housed in an updated version of Samsung's Slim S Pen case
