Max's Top 10 - Here are 3 shows worth watching now

Tom's Guide believes that Max is one of the best streaming services you can subscribe to. But even with one of the best streaming services out there right now, it can still be hard to find what to watch sometimes.

You may be tempted to look at Max's top 10 shows list for recommendations, but like any other service, you can't know for sure if what's popular on Max is a must-see.

That's where we come in: we took a look at Max's top 10 TV shows (as of 9 a.m. ET on June 27) and picked three that we think are worth checking out. Not surprisingly, "House of the Dragon" Season 2 is at the top of the list (and it probably won't be going anywhere anytime soon), but here are a couple more recommendations. If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea, be sure to check out our Best Max Programming Guide to find your next pick.

Finally returning to Westeros, "House of Dragons" Season 2, the first chapter of which chronicled the reign of King Viserys and the division of House Targaryen into two factions, the Green and the Black.

In Season 2, the Seven Kingdoms are on the verge of civil war. The conflict between the newly crowned King Aegon II and Queen Rhaenyra (Viserys' successor) is forcing houses throughout Usteros to choose sides. So far, it's a textbook "Thrones" turn of events. We have already seen shocking maneuvers, cunning ploys, and plenty of political gamesmanship, and things are bound to escalate even further soon.
