As June draws to a close, Netflix, Apple TV Plus, and other streaming services continue to be packed with new movies and shows this weekend.

Leading the weekend lineup is "The Bear" Season 3, in which Emmy Award winners Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Backlash once again face the pressures of a new fine dining restaurant. The historical fantasy "My Lady Jane" and the multi-generational family drama "Land of Women" will debut. [In movies, "Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga" and "The Boy and the Hare" are available on Premium Video on Demand, as is "A Family Affair," an age-graded rom-com starring Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron. Highlights this weekend include.

Bears are open for business and are just getting started. Carmie (Jeremy Allen White) has successfully transformed his brother's sandwich store into a fine dining restaurant with the help of his dedicated kitchen staff, including Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) and Richie (Ebon Moss-Backlash). Each day they prep, cook, and serve food under Carmie's exacting standards. Will the pressure cooker-like kitchen explode? Probably. But that's the fun of the show. Because one ulcer-inducing stressful situation after another comes around the "corner."

Producer and star Eva Longoria has teamed up with Spanish film and TV icon Carmen Maura and newcomer Victoria Bazúa for this multi-generational drama. The life of Gala, a wealthy New Yorker, is turned upside down when her husband disappears after failing to repay a debt to a criminal, putting her family in danger. She takes her elderly mother, Julia, and her teenage daughter, Kate, and hides in her mother's hometown in northern Spain. They had planned to lay low, but small-town gossip spreads quickly, and it is not long before the family's deepest secrets are revealed.

In actual English history, Lady Jane Grey, Henry VII's great-grandson, ascended the throne as queen for only nine days before being beheaded. However, in this fantasy romantic comedy series, a different version of events unfolds in which Jane (newcomer Emily Bader) is saved from the threat of beheading because her cousin, Henry VIII's son Edward IV, did not die. Jane is no longer the damsel in distress; she lives, laughs, and loves freely.

Season 2 will feature a forensic accountant, a web sleuth, a poker player, and other rivals who make their living digging up the truth.

A prequel to the best movie of 2015, Mad Max: Death Road to Fury, Anya Taylor-Joy and Alira Brown, who succeed Charlize Theron, portray Furiosa's origin story. As a young girl, Furiosa is captured by marauders while living in Green Place, a lush oasis in the middle of a wasteland. She is adopted against her will by General Dementas (Chris Hemsworth) and later exchanged for Immortan Joe (Lacey Hulme), ruler of the Citadel. After rising through the ranks, Furiosa teams up with Praetorian Jack (Tom Burke) to become a driver. After bonding, the two begin to formulate an escape plan, but an encounter with Dementas prevents their path.

Legendary animator Hayao Miyazaki has withdrawn from retirement and made this film to the delight of his fans around the world. The Boy and the Hare became Hayao Miyazaki's second Oscar-winning film. This coming-of-age fantasy was inspired by his own life. After the death of his mother during the Pacific War, young Mahito moves to the countryside with his father and new stepmother. There he meets a strange gray heron who guides him to an ancient tower. Guided by the heron, Mahito embarks on a journey of discovery and enlightenment.

In Hollywood, reversing the typical age gap romance is becoming quite the trend. Most recently, there is "The Idea of You," in which an older art gallery mom, played by Anne Hathaway, falls in love with a younger boy band member, played by Nicholas Galitzine. And now, Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron take on a May-December romance. Zara (Joey King), a retired personal assistant to movie star Chris Cole, unwittingly leads him to meet Brooke, the mother of a famous writer. The two hit it off immediately, but Chris has a hard time wooing the incredulous Brooke.

Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone teams up with Native American filmmaker Erica Tremblay for her feature film directorial debut. Gladstone plays Jax, who has been taking care of his niece Loki (Isabelle DeRoy-Olson) since her sister disappeared. They barely live on the Seneca-Cayuga Reservation in Oklahoma. In his spare time, Jax looks for his missing sister while helping Loki prepare for an upcoming powwow. When Loki's grandfather (Shea Whigham) asks for custody, the two head into the backcountry to search for their mother. Their search leads to a deeper exploration of the plight of indigenous women in a colonized world.
