New "Deadpool & Wolverine" teaser, first look at Marvel's coolest villains

We've seen plenty of teasers and trailers for the Marvel film Deadpool & Wolverine. However, one teaser that has just been released has given us even more excitement.

Don't worry - we won't keep you waiting. Sabertooth (played again by Tyler Mane) will appear in "Deadpool & Wolverine" in an epic battle scene between the two heroes.

It was actually surprising that he was casually revealed in such a short clip, but perhaps not that surprising to most fans, given that set photos of his villainous character were leaked in December 2023.

The full-length trailer for "Deadpool & Wolverine" gave us a clear picture of the chaotic storyline that will soon hit the big screen. Marvel's most popular characters, Deadpool/Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) and Wolverine/Logan (Hugh Jackman), come together.

Six years have passed since the events of "Deadpool 2," and Wade is far from his days as the mercenary Deadpool, at peace. However, things take an unexpected turn when the Time Variance Authority (TVA), a bureaucratic organization that operates beyond time and space, recruits him for an important mission.

If you've seen the "Loki" series, you know who they are. Wilson reluctantly joins forces with the equally hesitant Wolverine on a mission that has the power to reshape the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.

From the teaser alone, it is unclear how Sabretooth will be involved in the story, but we do know that there will be an epic fight scene between him and Wolverine. In the final moments of the teaser, the two are shown running toward each other before the screen goes dark (Marvel loves trailer cliffhangers).

Sabertooth, also known as Victor Creed, is a prominent villain in the Marvel Universe, particularly in the "X-Men" series. He possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and a rapid healing factor similar to Wolverine.

His enhanced vision, sense of smell, and hearing make him an excellent tracker, and he is equipped with razor-sharp claws and fangs for combat (we get a sneak peek at these in the teaser).

One of the defining aspects of Sabertooth's character is his longstanding rivalry with Wolverine. This is because both share the primal "Alpha Predator" dynamic. Each sees the other as a challenge to his dominance, and they frequently engage in brutal confrontations.

In both film and comics, Sabretooth is portrayed as a sadistic and ferocious character who enjoys violence and inflicts pain; in X-Men Origins (2009), Liev Schreiber played him: in Wolverine (2009) Liev Schreiber, and played by Tyler Mane in X-Men (2000).

As for his role in "Deadpool & Wolverine," he will be another villain who tries to get in their way. He may fight alongside Cassandra Nova (Emma Colin), Professor Xavier's evil twin, who has all of Professor Xavier's telepathic and telekinetic powers. Judging from the main trailer, she is the main villain.

For now, we'll have to wait until "Deadpool & Wolverine" hits theaters on July 26 to find out what Sabertooth is really up to.
