The Contour5 mattress is brought to you by the brand behind Saatva Classic, which beat the world to be the top of the Official Best Mattress Guide of the year. Unlike the hybrid classic, this new model is part of the brand's memory foam range

with a whole foam structure designed to give body-hugging support, this body contouring pressure relief is durable and comes from premium high density 5lb foam with a luxuriously thick structure built to prevent sagging (with the name, Contour5, being developed). So how does its price compare to other mattresses? Well, Contour5 sits somewhere in the middle. It's not as expensive as the best smart mattress Solaire or organic Latex Zenhaven, memory foam hybrid or kids range cheap.

The first layer is 2 inches thick and features the brand's trademark CoolVent system. This cooling feature consists of phase change material (PCM), a nasa-developed cooling fabric designed to absorb heat and conduct away from your body. Along with keeping the sleeping surface cool, this layer also supports your lumbar region by keeping the foam cool and therefore firmer and more supportive.

The second layer, which is 1.5 inches high, has a high density 4lb air flow channel injected with cooling gel designed to increase breathability and keep hot sleepers cool. Foam Thick memory foam is also built to provide body contouring pressure relief and support.

Up next is a body hug core made from 5" of super premium 3lb memory foam. Its high density is to provide excellent pressure relief, ensure maximum durability and prevent body indentation from forming. This is followed by a 2" transition layer that allows you to choose the level of firmness: medium or firm. If you are a side sleeper, back sleeper, or combination sleeper, choose medium, while a stomach sleeper and a person weighing over 230lbs should go for company.

These layers are supported by a 6" high density foam base that provides optimal edge support and stability. At the top sits an organic cotton knit cover treated with antibacterial treatment for a clean, hypoallergenic sleep. The smooth, breathable cover is designed to be cool and allows a more memory foam feel than the quilted top of the loom and leaf. Underneath is fiberglass-free flame barrier, so you can enjoy sleeping which is comfortable and non-toxic.
