Kit Harrington, best known for playing Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones," is ready to take center stage in his next thriller, "The Beast Within.""Hitting theaters next month, this film promises to mix Harrington's magnetic presence with dark, suspenseful narratives that can tap into your deepest fears

"The Beast Within" is actually an indie film and could showcase a unique story with characters we can properly connect with (blockbuster). Often its small scale can give us a refreshing take on the story of the "monster". 

Alexander J.Directed by Farrell, "The Beast Within" does something different from the age-old legend. Harrington's portrayal of a man working on his own huge transformation can be both unforgettable and somewhat sad.  

But what is actually a "beast in the middle" and is it worth seeing in the theater?

"The Beast in the Middle" is a werewolf thriller that looks deeply chilling. Through the eyes of a young girl named Willow (Caoilinn Springall), he noticed a strange event surrounding his father (Kit Harington) in the family's fortified grounds in the English countryside.

The official synopsis is:After a series of bizarre events cast her into question the family's isolated life in a fortified complex deep in the English wilderness, Willow follows her parents on one of the secret late-night treks to the heart of an ancient forest, on July 1. But when she witnesses her father going through a terrible transformation, she too becomes haunted by the dark ancestral secrets they desperately tried to hide.

It's clear from the trailer that Harrington's character is a devoted father who desperately wants to protect his family. But the relentless curse complicates his efforts, getting stronger every day and making it increasingly difficult to control his anger. To make matters worse, his daughter, Willow, is also beginning to show signs of a werewolf curse.

What stood out to me was the ominous feeling I got from the trailer. It depends on the eyes of the young willow, so not everything will be reliable information, and her fears may have a deeper meaning. Will this film be more than just a scary wolf thriller? I personally think so, but there's also room for a plot twist (and I'm a sucker for something that takes a dramatic turn). 

The script was written by Greer Ellison and Alexander J.Written by Farrell. It is also produced by Alex Chan, Jack Christian, Ryan Hamilton, Merlin Merton, Martin Owen, Sebastian Street and Jordan Wagner.

The Beast Within" will debut in some US theaters from 7/26. This means it won't be long to wait until you see Harrington transform into a werewolf. There are no early reviews yet, but the premise seems promising. Starring alongside Harrington and Springall are Ashley Cummings as mother and James Cosmo as grandfather.
