One of the best sci-fi movies ever Just crashed the top 10 of Prime Video

As a streaming writer, it's my job to cover movies that are worth watching on the best streaming platforms. One standout service includes Prime Video and it so happens to have one of the best sci-fi movies ever in the top 10 The movie in question is Christopher Nolan's epic sci-fi masterpiece "Interstellar" and is currently located in 7th place (as of 20th).

Some good science fiction movies are both comforting and invigorating at the same time. Being transported to another world is the best part of this genre, and "Interstellar" is one of the thrilling adventures that I can go through again and again.  And the fact that it was ranked in the top 10 on Prime Video suggests that viewers still appreciate it.

If you are not familiar with this classic movie (which would be surprising) and want more details before watching, you have come to the right place.

"Interstellar" is set in a dystopian future where the Earth is plagued by environmental disasters, declining food supplies and intense sandstorms. And humanity is facing the threat of extinction. The main character Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) is a former NASA pilot who lives with 2 children. His daughter also believes that their home is haunted by "ghosts" who communicate with them through strange gravitational anomalies.

One day, these anomalies lead Cooper to a secret NASA facility, where they meet Professor Brand (Michael Kane) and his daughter, Amelia Brand (Anne Hathaway). Professor Brand has revealed that NASA is working on a plan to save humanity by finding a new habitable planet in another galaxy.

Cooper will then be employed with a team of scientists, including Amelia Brand, David Gyasi and Doyle (Wes Bentley), to steer the spacecraft's endurance. The team goes on a dangerous journey through a wormhole to explore three potential planets: the Planet of Miller, the Planet of Mann and the Planet of Edmunds.

Of course, most space adventure movies never go to plan. As the mission progresses, they face a variety of challenges that test their endurance and sanity, and ultimately wonder what saving humanity means.

"Interstellar" has been widely praised for its ambitious blend of scientific accuracy, emotional storytelling, stunning visuals and powerful performances by a talented cast. All these positive elements make it a remarkable and enduring film work (although, in my opinion, most people who love the sci-fi genre agree).

Beyond its scientific nature, "interstellar" is deeply emotional. The relationship between Cooper and his daughter, Murph (Jessica Chastain plays adult Murph), is essentially the emotional core of the film as it explores love, sacrifice and human connections. It brings tears to your eyes and gives you the next goosebumps. Even family and friends say that "Interstellar" does an excellent job of making you feel something, whether it's good or bad.

"Interstellar" has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 73%, and I personally don't think it's high enough. But critics seem to have admired the film more over time. Film mom Nell Minow said: "Ambitious, provocative, thoughtful, very funny - everything is considered (believe me, everything is considered) and it's very

While Steven Rea of the Philadelphia Inquirer summed up the film perfectly. Nolan's vision of our galaxy and beyond is mind-boggling and majestic."

I can continue to admire this film, but I need to acknowledge the initial feedback from the audience. After the film was released in 2014, it was quite divided among viewers. This was due to a complex scientific concept that at the time felt too ambitious. The same applies to a 3-hour runtime, and some people may end up seeing it (and I can understand why).

However, films like "Oppenheimer" prove that long periods do not affect such a convincing narrative.  If the movie is as attractive as "interstellar", you often do not notice how much time has passed since you pressed play.

So even if you've seen this sci-fi movie before, this is your sign to watch it again. And if you've never heard of it, now is your chance to stream it on Prime Video. That it is such a wonderful film, it is from "Oppenheimer" No.I would not be surprised if I took 1 spot.
